I'm conserned about damaging the engine. I want more sure but not at the cost of the lifetime of the vehicle. NA sounds safer than FI.

Any shops in NoVA that can do the NA work? My car is a daily driver but I still want more.

Spend a fortune on NA mods just to get use to them in 1 week or go mad and get a proper turbo kit. A SC is not thr application you are looking for, since it really improves only top end.
I want a linear increase. I thought a turbo was for high end RPM and a SC was for lower end RPM?

Again going with a Turbo, what stress are you putting on the engine? How much are NA mods?

Whether a turbo or supercharger adds to the low or top end depends on a lot of things. First is the type of supercharger - whether it is a centrifugal or a roots (positive-displacement) supercharger. Then comes sizing, which matters in all forms of forced induction. A small turbo will give you more low end since it will spool very quickly. Most Volkswagens have very small turbos for this purpose. A large turbo will spool later, but not choke off the top end like a small turbo will. This will add a lot to the top end powerband.

a properly tuned turbo or supercharger setup can be more reliable then a highly strung out na motor...

Who would want to waste money on those gigantic hunks of garbage.

I'd rather have a nice modded S that can pull with, or over a vette

I can dream can't i?
