ne1 skip gears when shifting?

w/ the gear ratios so close together, i've found that when leisurely driving in town i can do 1-3-5 shifts and dont have to shift so darn often. works for me!

yah ive heard too many horror stories about the "jump to 5 or 6 shift"

but what about downshiftin? any harm in 6->3rd or 4th?

There was a thread about this before. From what I gathered its fine as long as your rev matching. I will sometimes redline 1st and 2nd and than let the rpms drop a bit and go into 5th to cruise. Also 6th to 3rd to pass someone.
