Default "Neat" mods FAQ?

Hey guys,

Just wondering ... do we have a "Neat mod FAQ" type of thing here? I know there are plenty of threads on MY differences, etc. and many individual mod threads. But I'm looking for one that links to everything.

For example, the top down mod, reonator removal, CDV, are all very "neat" mods that make the car ... hmmm ... better. Yet, there isn't a centralized index / list of these mods that I found. Or is there one already?

I just thought of this now when I'm reading about the resonator threads, then realized I never read up on it before! Where as some owners probably didn't know about the top down mod till much later, etc

Good idea, I have performed the "top down while rolling" mod myself and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. One click of the e-brake and I can put my top up\down while rolling next to convertibles that cost 3x as much and they always look at me all !!!!

I also have the clutch interlock bypass done, which doubles as a kill switch in my case, because I installed a hidden switch. from me.

Sweet, how's the killswitch work? And do you have a DIY for this? Thanks

Go collect all the links and make one thread, and we can add it to the FAQ if its not already in the modifications forum.

Well first you have to set the definition of "neat". To some it could mean making a total rice box.

(Haha I kind of like that one with its space man design. Not saying that one is riced too much, but couldn't find an example )

Ya ... will collect some links over the next few weeks

those are the "neat" mods I could think off the top of my head. Basically small and / or relatively low cost mods that S2000s generally do to make their cars a bit "nicer" ... and something that probably only S2K owners would know?

a/c "off" trick when u set it to use the defroster.

Remove foam tools holder for more space, wrap tools and store in spare tire.

remove spare tire (if you have a flat fix or AAA etc)

hold "+" button till you hear a beep to make cluster max brightness in day or night
