Thumbs down Need Advice

What's up everyone?
I need advice on my CPO 2006 S2K. I purchased the car last month from LB Honda for 18.5k. I noticed the car started to sway a little bit to the right. I ran a Carfax and it has been in an accident and now I am furious about it. Yes, I know I should of ran a Carfax on my own. When I asked the sales person if the car has been in an accident he said no and it has a clean title. Hell, if I knew the car had been in an accident I wouldn't have purchased it or at least would have offered max 14k. I spoke with the director of sales a few minutes ago and he was suprised the sales person didn't show me the carfax report. I am suppose to go back to the dealership on Friday to get the car inspected. Know, I don't want he car and want to return it. What am I supposed to do?

Sorry in advance for any grammatical errors, I am just upset and dissapointed.

Could just be tires..., I wouldn't get too excited about it yet.

Check your tire pressures.
Check your alignment.

Track guys have put them into walls and repaired them to spec again.
Nothing a good body shop can't fix.

Ive own my my02 for 3 years now, iam the second owner, bought it with 19,xxx miles on it, makes me wonder for those 19,xxx miles before i bought it, how it was treated, accidents etc. I think i might do a carfax just to be sure, but since ive own for 3 years already i doubt i can really do anything about it. I do understand why you wouldn't want the car anymore thou, i wouldnt want something that i didnt messed up. What kind of accident was it? just curious

Ya, to a car salesman, a clean title means he printed that carfax out on a nice new white piece of paper.

always get a carfax...when I started looking at S's, I found a used clean looking one at a local Nissan dealership. When I asked for the car fax, the salesman said the "secretary that handles that is out sick today."

After the red flag raised in my mind, I just told the guy I would not be buying the car today, and walked out. I went back outside, wrote down the VIN. My friend car faxed it for me. The vehicle was involved in a single car accident. IOW, the previous owner ran it off the road...no telling what happenned. I passed on the car.

Shows you how shady some salesman are.

BTW, this was Grand Strand Nissan in Myrtle Beach.

First, probably should have done a carfax. It's in the past now, so no use in worrying too much about it.

Second, I put my last car into a wall at the track. No frame damage, was fixed, and ran fine afterwards. In the back of my mind though, it always bothered me a bit...but really for no good reason. If you can't get over that nagging feeling, you might have to trade in the car for a loss - so is the nagging feeling worth $5k?

Third. The pulling might have to do with something simple - tires, tire pressures, alignment come to mind. If something on the suspension is bent, that's a bit more work, but doable (and should be covered under your CPO warranty). If it's frame damage, then I would see what you can get out of Honda. I wouldn't think they could sell a car as CPO if it had frame damage, but then again, I don't know too much about the program.

Good luck.

CarFax will not show accidents unless the car was totalled (since that changes the title, which is what CarFax looks at).
