need advise on used S2000 car
I am thinking of buying used and would like to know which spot I can inspect to make sure that the car has all the original part? I know how to check the body part (from bumper to bumper, side to side), but I have no clue about the engine bay ie engine, firewall, chassis, etc.
Thanks for the help

Not hard at all. There are stickers about 3"x1" placed around the car.
4 under the hood: one on each fender, 1 on the front bumper, 1 underside of the hood
2 in each door sill, 1 on either side
2 in the trunk, 1 on the bumper and 1 on the trunk lid
10 total.

Um. The engine number is stamped on the engine I believe. The chassis, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't have a number. I think the VIN may also be stamped on the firewall, but I can't remember.
Basically, unless it has a salvaged title, you'd be hard pressed to need this information. The engine number and VIN number aren't supposed to match (although I think they're normally close). And if the car has been in enough of an accident to warrant replacing those parts, then it will be reflected in the lack of stickers on the body panels.
