Does anyone know where exactly all the VINs are located in the S2000? How many of them are easily accessible without having to take panels off. So far I found these from search:

1. Front Bumper - tab in engine compartment
2. Rear Bumper - tab visible in trunk
3. Engine Block
4. In the windshield - drivers side lower corner
5. Firewall - passengers side
6. Each door jamb
7. Lower end of each door
8. Underside of hood
9. Underside of trunk

Not sure if I was on crack, but I remember seeing a diagram by Honda that points out where all the VIN labels are located. Does anyone have that?

I'm travelling and couldn't check using my car or the owner's manual, but am going to check out a used S2000 for a friend during this trip (in about 2 days). So would be great if you guys have that ...


PS. What other things should I look for to see if a car has gone through repair (especially on the frame)? I figured missing VIN labels on body panel isn't always the end of the world (ie the car just had a replaced door because of a small accident that didn't do anything to the rest of the car ...). Just want to check to make sure the car has not been through major repairs that would affect its handling

I thought there was one on each fender also...?
