Just a note about the key: We can Copy an original key Cut/Programmed for $30 + Shipping but we must have the original key to copy the code off of.
Can you do it with the barcode that comes with the spares?

The keys are actually cheaper then what Marcus said. I think I was gonna pay $35 or so for mine. Not $125!!!

Good grief... don't pay that much for a remote.
Another possibility - if you have another Honda with a remote (I have a CR-V), you can program the car to use that remote. See instructions.

Hmmmmm, im confused now:I just got a spare key made. Cost me $22 and the parts guy made no mention that the new key had to be programmed to the car. I think i may have to stop by the dealer and ask about this

Isn't that what the little key code thingie is for? You just bring that in and that's the code needed to get the key set right?

trust me.....you need it. I have a gate card on my keyring and it has an electric chip in it. If the chip gets too close to the ignition, it shuts my car off. No matter what I'm doing....once I was making a u-turn and a car was coming.....my damn car shut off and I almost got hit!!!
