Default Need help!!!!

I am trying to take the air vent (the black plastic part) out. Do I just yank it outwards or is there a special way or technic to uninstall it. Please tell me so I won't break that piece.

Thanks,

You might try to take a pic of the part so people know exactly what your talking about.

No, I just can't stand that piece to be black and the rest is blue. I am planning to paint it light gunmetal color so it matches the rest of the vent color. Maybe it is not as noticiable with black interior.

Cheers,

I assume we are talking about part # 18 in this Pic, right? Maybe this will help clear up what you are looking for help on.
