Need help finding where to put this hex lock nut !

Default Need help finding where to put this hex lock nut !

When I finish putting my car back together and found 8 of this nuts left . This ain’t weight reduction time lol I need to put them back to where they belong .

Agree, does not really look OEM to me. But knowing what you took apart may help. Almost looks like HW that came with an intake. I think most OEM stuff stays away from nylock nuts, as they are kinda useless really :P Under vibration they can come loose just like any other nut.

Only thing i took apart is front bumper , crash beam , headlight . that's it and side fender

Usually, my recommendation is to first find the issue and then just remedy it as best as possible.

That's not an OEM NUT. I don't think any OEM bolts use "nylock" nuts.

Might've been a retainer nut for the front plate
