I am looking to get a new black/black s2000 (w/ no options)for MSRP. If anyone wants to sell me one, or can point me to a dealer (preferably near or in Minnesota) that will accept to only make $3,000 on the car sale.

I will buy, please help.

You can check our classified listing for possible color choice in your area. http://www.jakepratt.com/s2000classified/

or

http://www.s2000fans.com/dealerships/ for participating S2Ki dealerships selling at MSRP

The honda dealer in Iowa City, IA sold me my black/black 2001 at MSRP. The entire dealership sells the s2000's at MSRP. I just bought the last blk/blk and they said they are getting in a 2001 yellow.

phone: 319-337-6100
i bought mine from John Logan. Greg is also really nice there. they didn't push me into anything. they didn't tell me about their "rust proofing" costs like some Chicago dealer did.

Good luck.

well I have to make some phone calls tommorow.

If I put a deposit down on an arriving black/black s2000 how can I guarantee a price at that point? I am worried if I put a deposit down, they will simply tell me sticker, but then when I go to pick it up they will change their tune.

The deposit to hold the car until it comes in was $500 for me. If you confirm the price over the phone and they say something else on delivery, you can argue your deposit back... but i seriously doubt they will change the price on anyone like that.

right now, they have a silver/black w/ ALL options + hardtop
and a yellow/black w/ ALL options + hardtop on the lot.

griffin,

I just bought my new 01 Yellow S2K (6 miles) one week ago at Honda House in St. Cloud for $1700 under MSRP. I actually got the spoiler and security system as part of the deal.

I'm in the Twin Cities, and I had no problem getting this deal. I sent faxes out to all of the dealerships in Minnesota, and I had good bids from St. Cloud, Bemiji, Albert Lea, Brainerd, Grand Forks (ND) and a couple of other ones. If you want a copy of fax that I sent, I can forward it to you. Don't buy from a Twin Cities dealer. You'll have a tough time getting a good deal.

If you make a deal, get them to fax you a purchase agreement with all prices itemized. You shouldn't pay any more than $1000 UNDER MSRP in the Twin Cities.

You won't regret getting a Stook!!! I love mine.

BTW - I only had to put a $200 deposit on mine.

Jason, Id be interested in looking at the fax. Hopefully one of those mentioned dealers has a black/black in stock, or coming in soon.
