Default Need help getting the panels off behind my seat

Hello, I just bought my S2000 about a week ago and love it. Ever since I bought the car there has been something rolling around behind the drivers seat. When I accelerate I hear it roll and stop like it hits the back. When I slow down it rolls back and stops like it hits the front. It is behind the panels behind the seat, it sounds like someone dropped something down there like a battery or something. It is driving me nuts and I want to take the panels off behind my seat and see if I can find this thing that is rolling around. So if anyone has taken them off please help me out. Do they just pop off? It is an 07 if that makes a difference.

If this is in the wrong forum please move it, but I didnt know where to put it.

Thanks,

You could also try getting at it from the rear (remove the spare tire).

The behind-the-seat panels come off by unscrewing the luggage hooks. Look up the DIYs for rear speaker installs. There are a few upholstery clips as well. If you have a shop manual, that's the best resource. Also consider browsing through Majestic Honda or similar Honda parts website to see the expanded view of the items in question.

I'd wager that you will have to go through the trunk to get to whatever it is...

Yep. Trunk will probably be easier. pull the three tabs on the right side with the rings on it. That gets you to your spare tire, then pull the left snap on clips off. this will get you behind the driver seat.
