Need Help...moving my handicapped car
My car, recently victim of interior theft, is now up for sale (its posted if interested in the proper section). My dilemna now is that I would like to be able to sell it somewhat driveable and in order for that it needs:
A steering wheel
A seat
Will any honda/acura steering wheel fit for the time being?
Any seats that will come close to bolting in?

I wasnt looking to buy the parts as I am selling the car as a whole as it sits (I dont have a garage at my house and refuse to wake up to the same sight I did)
I was hoping a civic/CRX wheel will fit for a 10 min drive, and a seat, even if i needed to drill new holes in the seat, to bolt down.

You are going to take a big hit on price selling it as it sits. Restoring it and selling it will net you the best return.
The wheel may fit, give it a try. Seat on the other hand, I have seen one just set in the car. That is how my rolling chassis came. but driving it is another story. Let the buyer tow it off if needed.

Well, I dont mind the hit in selling it as it sits because I really have no means to store it and use, and for me, just as the owner, I wouldnt repair it to sell it, i love the thing, I wouldnt be able to sell it, which of course, isnt realistic, because then thieves would just take the damn thing again.
Just my opinion, but might be relevant:
Personally, I'd pay less for a car with holes drilled in the floor pan to allow temporary bolting of some other kind of seat than I would for the car with no seats at all.
If you drill the holes, the next owner's either got to repair the holes or face the possibility, likelihood rather, of the floor pan rusting out later.
Repairing the holes properly means taking the interior out, welding the drilled holes closed, priming, painting, and possibly replacing the carpet depending on how analy they want to be about their restoration and what you had to do to get holes in a workable location. Not the kind of thing the new owner is going to be happy about.
