Default Need help on next S2000 upgrade

Hello all,
I just finished installing a K&N FIPK intake, comptech header and magnaflow exhaust but am running out of things to do next. I want parts that enhance performance so i have couple mods that i am shying away from. Here's a list

1) No FI...not to offend many FI heads out there but i think the car is best NA
2) No bling bling 18 (why do people do this?) Doesn't the added rotating mass hurt acceleration. It's not a highway cruiser. I perfer 16" since it looks like it belongs there IMHO.
3) Dropping the car 1-2 inches. I live near many potholes in Chicago, don't need to replace my lip
4) NOS, Naaaus or nitrous......

That pretty much leaves me to replacing the suspension/shocks and improving performance....but are there more mods for added hp?

Thanks in advance

There are tons of things you could look into. Underdrive pulleys, cam gears, larger bore throttle body, ported intake manifold, free flow cat or test pipe, larger fuel injectors/fuel pressure regulator, and if you want to go hardcore, get new cams and/or new pistons/rods.

Just some ideas, however a lot of mods may decrease HP or hurt the power curve. The car is already "modded" from the factory pretty much.

The simplest would be the free flow cat/test pipe.

wouldn't working on the internals impact reliability? Also, what exactly does the test pipe do? Wouldn't that set of the CEL and hinder performance?

adding the test pipe would require doing something with the O2 sensor to not make the CEL come on.

As far as the internals, as long as you buy quality products, it should diminish reliability. Perhaps look into a stroker kit for a little more bottom end.

I totally forgot about gears! I might be stupid for saying this but would changing the final drive gear show up as added HP on the dyno?

no, but your revs would raise quicker = feeling like you added more hp/ more performance. Downside gas is used more.
