Default N/A build up for rookies?

OK, so basically I bought my first S in May around my birthday- and since, as far as motor goes- Iv purchased THROTTLE BODY, INTAKE MANIFOLD (TB and manifold not yet installed), FIPK K and N INTAKE, already had DC HEADERS and UK EXHAUST MOD and Im about to start ordering the fuel side of things (Fuel rale, injectors, AEM E.M.S., etc etc). My concerns/ question are- I cant find a "normal" build on my lower level of expertise in the VTEC world If Im doing everything ok the direction I'm goin, then I suppose no worries- But I'm sure Imma mess up sooner or later if I dont bring these questions about before I get to bolting things together haha

OOOORRRR if someone reading this already knows where a minor N/A build thread is- could ya be a mate and point me in the rite direction?

Read up on the N/A forum and itll help you see how and what to do. Should have upgraded knowledge before upgrading or purchasing parts so you have a better idea of what does what to the car. but based on what you have purchased so far id say its normal bolt ons. When you say build up the motor to me it means you want to build bottom end, cams, stroker maybe. Check out other peoples builds so you can see the progressions. Good luck. a nicely tuned and modded N/A s2k can be tons of fun!

IMO . you're throwing your money away. Its very hard to get any additional NA power from our cars without spending around $6k +. Even then it's minimal .. and at that point you might as well go forced induction. The best you can do is tune the powerband to how you like it. AEM EMS and a good single exhaust is about the best you're going to get.

Uk mod is for sound, won't do anything for performance.
DC header is a waste of money. They have been known to lose power. The weight reduction is the only benefit.
K&N is only good for about 2-3 whp. The sound is the seller for that system. Comptech is good for midrange, aem v2 is good for top end, J's and pwjdm are the best, but they are ridiculously priced.
Fuel rail is not needed. Stock can flow enough to support 450+ whp
Injectors aren't needed either, not for bolt ons.
Aem ems series 2 is a great investment. Getting that properly tuned will net more than all the other crap put together. The tune will let you know if you need larger injectors.
What intake manifold and throttle body?
Brian Crower stage 2 cams are about the only bolt on that will drastically change the characteristics of the car, outside of an itb or F/I setup.

Correct^ i was looking into building the motor and going with ITB's but the way i wanted it all setup would of been expensive. So i went back turbo. Now if you want to do all the bolton's and then run a 50 wet shot of Nos, you'll be fine pending you get the Aem Ems and tuned for it. Look at getting gears as well.

Pretty much what I was going to say, especially that first sentence.

I'd do an LSx swap in this car before building an NA motor.
