Default Need Help Please. Clutch S2K

Hey guys,

I wanted a GPW S2K, couldn't find any, then saw a guy driving one....stopped him and asked him if he's interested in selling....he said maybe.

Talked to him some more, he let me drive the S2K, and said he'll let it go if I pay off the remaining balance of the loan.

Guy seems like a straight shooter.

The car is a 2001 with 88K on it; he has the extended warranty; he got the rear diff replaced last year; the car itself is clean as anything, even the engine bay. He said the only thing it might need is a new clutch.

How likely is it that I could get the clutch covered under Honda warranty?

Please lemme know. thanks

It is not likely. At all. It's a wear item. Like soft tops, brakes, and tires.

No way in hell would a clutch with 88,000 be covered under any warranty--particularly one that is long since expired.

how much would you have to pay for the car, cause if its just the remainder of his loan, that could be a great deal...

the remainder of the loan? That seems odd. How much is it going to be?
