Default Need help with pricing on brand new 2008

Hi,

I'm located in Souther California and I'm trying to make a deal on a left over 2008. What number should I shoot for? Is 24k~25k+ttl reasonable? Or do you think I can go lower considering it's a 2008?

I saw some numbers on this forum already but I would like to get some updated ones.

Thanks in advance.

Since socal is filled with them, I think you might be able to get it for that price. It's all about what that dealership paid invoice for that car.

search '08 (or even '09 since there isn't THAT much of a price difference it seems like) on autotrader... i've found quite a few...

I haven't been looking at the market, but 24 seems a bit too low for starting with dealers. I think 25+ttl would be a great deal. I could see maybe getting into the 24's if the car was demo'ed a lot.

Wow, holy crap. My 07 in 07 was 27.7+ttl in NorCal and that wasn't even the lowest price.

Guess dealers are holding out for the last minute folks who never bought an S before production ended. Eh, the prices will have to come down eventually.

I think the best time to buy 08s was when the 09s had come out and before Honda announced the discontinuation of the model.

Now it doesn't really matter. Warranty starts when the car is sold, so there is no real difference between the 08s and 09s.

Price is what they'll sell it for. I seriously doubt a new 08 will go for less than $24k, but who knows. I'd be smart in your negotiations, though. They don't have to do anything. If you have a trade that they want, they might cut you a break.
