Default Need help to remove entire glove box

I'm installing a custom center console cover and no matter how much I squeeze it under the back glove box, it's still not rite. If I could remove the whole glove box piece, I could just lay the cover out and secure it easily. Would anyone happen to have instructions on where all the screws are? Thanks.

The instructions are in the Helms manual. Buy one. The process is long.

I agree, you really want the manual for this one. Most of the rear plastic needs to be removed first.

You don't have to remove the whole console. You can remove several screws (you have to remove the large panels behind the seats to get to some) and tilt it up far enough to get under it fairly well. Total removal is a PITA and may cause some rattles and creaks to develop.

Bummer. Yeah, I removed the 2 screws and lifted as far as possible, but it really didn't help. I'm going to take everyone's advice and not remove it. Not sure what to do about the scrunched up material.

I removed mine once, not too tuff just time consuming. Like Stratocaster said, helms manual is your best bet. I have the factory shop manual, maybe I could scan the pages and try and post them for you, let me know if you are interested.

That would be great if you could. I'd like to see the intensity of such an endeavor.

Its long and not easy. Its even harder to re-install it. I have done it, and wish I didnt. If you can avoid it, dont do it.
