Default need help w soft top

I recently bought my 02 s. It's a really fun car, but the PO did some annoying "modifications" to it. I put that in quotes, because he pretty much just messed a bunch of crap up that I'm not fixing. He replaced, or had the soft top replaced, which was great as a buyer, new glass rear window. However, they did it wrong. The bar that is supposed to go in the pocket with the window (the one with the springs attached) is not in that pocket and now my S looks ridiculous with the top up. It folds and everything fine, but the bar is not where it's supposed to be. I see there is a screw with a 5 hex head that holds it to the other bars, but I cannot get the bolt out. I've used an impact wrench, a breaker bar, everything I can think of to no avail. Has anyone here ever taken this bolt out? I can upload a picture of the bolt if I need to, but it's the one inside the hole on the arm of your softtop. I could really use some help. Thanks.

here's a pic of the bar from the inside with the top up. If i put the top down halfway, I can push the bar where it needs to be, but as soon as I put the top back up it goes back to this placement.

I think the main issue is that you are missing the straps for that bar. Not sure if an 02 is supposed to have springs or go in the pocket though.

Where would the straps go? I would have to assume they go towards the back, because that's where that bar needs to be held. The bar currently has springs that link to the center bar.
