Does the Comptech SC void the Cat warranty?

 

There is also the Tracy Sports high flow cat that is available from Bulletproof and the Toda, which has not yet hit our shores, but I just ordered one from King.

 

Cats typically fal under wear and tear item. The only time it would be under warranty would be if it failed for some reason very quickly after purchase/replacement.

Most of the emissions devices fall under a 7yr 70'000 warranty (I think thats it, know its more than 3yr 36000), but if you go in with a failure and have a SC I am sure they will not warranty it (A cat may not fall under that warranty though, due to its wear and tear nature).

 

The dealer told me that the Cat does have an 80,000 mile warranty and they were going to replace it until they saw that I had an SC. Then they told me that the reason that cat failed was because it was NOT a high flow cat and that's what I needed.

But now that I know that the stock is a high flow cat, they have no excuse.
