Im looking at purchasing a spoon strut bar from our old frineds at speedstar in toronto
and im wondering if i really need it... i do not race/track/autoX
will i really need(or want this) this and will it make my rear end less tail happy, im looking for minor performance upgrade but also saftey........ im not sure if this will help in the rain.... your opinions would be appreciated.. thanks...

i think strut bars are a waste of perfectly good cash. to me it's mainly just a 'icing on the cake' kind of mod.

some people swear by them, others arent convinced. i am of the latter.

I have the Spoon strut bar...i agree with alex s, it's basically just for a little JDM bling...that and something to rest your hand on when leaning over the engine bay.....if anything the xbrace is better

is the spoon bar hinged or one piece? you may also want to think about it this way... if you dont race/autoX... say the nightmare happens that you get hit from the side... you want the impact on one side to throw the other out of wack?

I'll agree with Efthimios and vote for the X-brace.
