Need a New Clutch!
Hey guys,
This is my first manual car that I've owned in a long time...I found out today from my buddies that I need a new clutch
I was wondering if this was a good clutch to purchase:

It says its OEM and I've heard that Exedy makes good clutches...
I don't drive the car fast too often but obviously I'd like to have a spirited drive once in a while. Or in other words I just would like an OEM clutch or something very similar. Also is that a good price?
Thanks guys!!

Well...they told me that at higher RPMs when they would shift the car would take about a sec or so before it catches...
It feels OK when I drive in the city but I do feel that the car I guess lags a bit when say I merge on the freeway and let the RPMs get high

Ok I just got back home and when I was on the freeway I gunned it and the rpms shot up then back down then back up I guess in a "slipping" sense...so I guess that would confirm the need for a new clutch...right?

www.hardtopguy.com has all the parts you need including the throwout bearing and pilot bearing. He used to have it all together in a kit but he doesnt anymore idk why.
Guys,
Just wanted to confirm something...
Again this is my first manual car in many years. I recently told my friends that on my s2000 I barely need to step on the clutch to be able to shift gears. Also told them that my catch point is VERY high as in I almost simply tap the clutch and shift and let go and the clutch would grab.
Is the super high catch point the sign of a worn out clutch?
Also the other day I was in 3rd gear as I entered the freeway and I took it to high RPMs and the car would get just REV and the car would not go any faster. I would then let go of the gas and gas once again and at that point the car would begin to accelerate...
