drilled only cause you track the car??

if you dont track it, drilled and slotted cad plated is a pretty nice combo-

these are from spugen...

very clean (look ma, no rust!), and installed backwards, with stock pads they do not dust at all:

for DD and auto-x to be used with hawk hp plus pads. Ive heard numerous stories that slotted rotors tear up brake pads

I got a set of drilled and slotted rotors last year. Brand was "One" I paid $423 but that included a set of pads also. Love the look and they feel great.

Not sure the "cheapest" rotor is what I'd want on my car....

I'm sure the "cheapest" rotor will never be on my car unless it's the OEM that's on there now...

OEM is good. I'm not into the drilled or slotted. I auto-X and the more surface area the better. Drilled just weakens the rotors and slotted, although in theory are supposed to dissipate heat faster, have been shown to actually decrease stopping power by less surface area for the pads to contact with.

I've got cobalt discs that are about to go on, and I've put Brembo rotors on my other car. The brembos seem a bit tougher than stock. The hawks HPS pads I have on the S are eating up the OEM pads.

I will give you a report on the cobalts, and how they hold up.
