need new rotors

For daily driver and auto-x, there's no need for drilled or slotted except for the bling factor.

I'd rather take slotted rotors and have slightly shorter pad life than get drilled and have the rotor crack on me.

just go with dimpled and sloted rotors from EBC...around $500 and look great...and are plated so they won't rust....or i have a complete set of oem rotors with 18 k on them...great condition....look on my for sale thread

You will not gain any performance from a slotted/drilled brake rotor on a modern day vented brake rotor setup. Its just for looks. You actually would have less of a contact patch under braking if you think about it. Plus they tend to be more prone to cracking.
