Just to give you an idea how dealerships rape people... my wife and i traded her 03 Accord EX and bought a 07 CRV EX from the same dealership. dealer gave us $11K for the Accord. After 2 weeks we spotted her Accord on the lot priced at $20K....wow
what do you expect? do think a dealership is charity. WOW all you people complaining about dealer prices need to relize YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT YOU AGREE. Dealers are a business... and a business is in it to make money so wtf did u expect them to give you cars for free?

That isn't a bad dealership, that's just lack of research on your part. If you let them give you $9k under retail on the trade, you obviously didn't look at book prices before going to the lot. If you did, you must have been trigger happy on buying the new car and ignored all logic. Hell, If I couldn't get more than $11k from a dealership, I'd list it online for $15k and probably sell it within three days. It's a freaking Accord, its not like there is no market.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I have decided to hold off for now. In my mind I knew it was a bad idea, and that I was getting raped. But at the same time I fell in the love with the s2000 and I could care less about the money. In the end however, I'm going to save up for 6 months, then sell the Si private party. This way I'll have the car i want, and hopefully some extra cash for a winter beater. Thanks again everyone.
