Default Need Quick Wheel Help! - Ordering In 1 Hour!

Hey Guys,

I have a Spa Yellow S2K and have decided on to 17" Konig Verdicts. I was talking to Discount Tire today and he was asking if I want 17x8 or 17x7 wheels on the front & back. What do you guys recommend? Any help is appreciated!!

Thank You!

eniru,

You want 17x7 in front and 17x8 in rear.

Do you plan to lower your car, what are the offsets on the wheels, and what tires are you getting?

go with 17x7 in front and 17x8 in the rear. Make sure the offset is at least 45mm. If not you will rub. And don't lower your car unless you have at least a 45mm offset.

Thanks for the info. I'm never going to lower the car so I think i'm gonna put the 17x7 on the front and 17x8 on the back..

Anything else I should consider before ordering?

Thanks!

They are saying the offset is only 40mm. Will this be OK?

What exactly is is going to rub? I talked to the guy there again and he said that he double checked and +40 will not run anywhere and will fit fine.

Thanks for your input.

40mm is too low of an offset. If it rubs on the front fender or rear quarter panel it will damage the car. Our car requires a high offset and 45mm is the lowest you can go if you do not lower the car.
