Need help...17 inch wheels and tires

Default Need help...17 inch wheels and tires

Will the following set up be ok to use?

- Front 17x7.5 with 205/50/17 tires...avail in 43 and 48 offset...which offset to choose?

- Rear 17x7.5 with 225/45/17 tires...avail in 43 and 48 offset
...which offset to choose?

In my opinion, you will make the car handle worse with a setup like that.

The 48mm offset would be the way to go. Both tires will fit on the 17X7.5 wheel. The 48mm is a little low for the rear but you have a fairly narrow wheel and tire so you should be OK.

OPTION,

Just my opinion...but don't go any less than 245/40/17 in rear!
This means you will need a 17x8.5 wheel bud...+55mm at least.
