need recommendations on S2000 transportation
hey guys,
im about to come up to my PCS (permananent change of station) for the Army, and was contemplating to possibly having my S at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri right before my tour in Afghanistan.
im sure it would be a great 2-3 day drive across country, but problem is i dont have the time to come back home to socal (im in Georgia now) and make the trip, so ive been looking into car transporting.
ive been getting lots of estimates around $700-800. but im needing some reliable carriers if i decide to go through with this, as this is just a "idea".
i would love an enclosed transport, but im sure thats much more. but i know i will need a carrier that will fit the needs of the car (lowered, etc).
any experiences or suggestions?

Sounds like it would be a fun road trip for someone. Do you know anyone (friend or anyone from your local forum that you trust) who would drive the car for the cost of gas, motel, and 1 way airfare?
