Default Need to replace emblems

The prelious owner put S-badges on the car, and I'd really like to take the car back to stock.

Firstly, any suggestions on getting them off? I'm thinking some heat will be involved, but any suggestions on how to not screw up the paint doing it?

Secondly, in trying to order new stock badges, I went to H and A.

Now, it looks like I'd want item 4, but it's not offered. What clips do I need to order to hold the badge in place?

Thanks in advance.

the front badge has two little prongs on it and its held in by clipping into the holes in the bumper. the holes in the bumper need a rubber/plastic socket that sets in place to clip onto the badge.

heat the 'S' badge up with a hair drier to soften up the adhesive. use some dental floss to remove the badge.. work it gently between the badge and the paint. Use some citrus cleaner or bug & tar remover to clean up the left over adhesive. wash the area with automotive soap & water. wax/protect the area with your product of choice. install new badge.

I agree with the heat gun/ hair dryer and floss idea.

It's been a long time since I took mine off, but I believe they are a little push on holder like the ones that hold the front grill in place. You might try those.
