Default Need replacement S2000 in Houston

Since my soggy S2000 is ruined (http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...?threadid=17590), I need a new one. I'm going to replace it no matter what the insurance does.

Anyone have an idea where I can get one for MSRP near Houston?

John Eagle is probably a good start.

Honda Clear Lake has a Black/Black, Yellow/Black, Red/Black on the floor now. The bad thing is they mark up their cars. Maybe you can talk them down some.

I'll call my dealer in Victoria and see what they have in stock.

Ok, I found one!

I got another silver/red for MSRP from First Texas Honda in Austin. VIN #6806. It's in stock, but I have to wait a week or two because ... get this ... someone stole the seats while it was locked up inside the dealership! No problem, maybe I'll get a check from the insurance before then so I don't have 2 loans at the same time.

Anyone have any experience with Frist Texas Honda? Anyone want to give me a ride to Austin in a couple of weeks?

Cool, I get to have 2 S2000's listed in my sig

Great news!! I tried calling you around 5:00pm after speaking to the General Manager at Honda Clear Lake. I mentioned your recent loss and he said that he could work out a deal with you.

Anyway, I guess that won't be necessary. Welcome back!

Thanks Joe!

I ended up searching through ehonda.com to check almost every dealer in Texas for a silver/red in inventory. I only found 3 or 4.

I just got a call from my original sales guy at Russell Smith. They have a silver/red coming in a few weeks I could get, but I already put a deposit on the one in Austin. If I could find another buyer for the one in Austin I could get my deposit back. No big deal either way. Turns out the Austin one will be available in a couple of days.

Anyone in Austin want a silver/red at MSRP?
