Unhappy :/ Need to sell AP1 but need some feedback

Hey all,

So I've been out of work for a bit and I haven't have the money to get my 02 (130k miles or so) running again and I'm really thinking about selling it to take care of bills but it's not that straightforward of a situation unfortunately.

Just before the pandemic started, the starter went out likely due to a bad oil leak so that needs to be fixed to get it running again. On top of that the driver seat and steering wheel need to be fixed as well as a ripped top. A few years prior to that I had an accident on track and as a result, both fenders, both bumpers and the left skirt need to be replaced/repaired as well as re aligning the part the radiator is attached to since it was knocked back at an angle during the accident. I know, what I ****ing mess :/

It was originally a SoCal car but I've been living in Washington state for a bit over 6 months now and it's been parked in the driveway with a tarp over it. My question is, with all that needing to be addressed, what is a reasonable price to ask for? I have 2 potential buyers lined up, but I don't know what is reasonable so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess maybe somewhere between 6 and 8K

But those are Midwest dollars.

West coast dollars may be higher than that

That is what I was thinking/hoping for. One of the interested parties was already seemingly OK with around 9k, but I doubt my brother (who talked to him) expressed the extent of the repairs needed. I think that person plans to flip it anyhow, so that may work out in my favor since they will likely look at the initial purchase from an investment perspective. I think I need to see what the going rate is for a good condition car around the same mileage is and tally up the cost of parts to make a firm proposal.
