The S is fine for long highway driving. Last year me and my bro took the car to Georgia and back to NY in just five days. If it wasn't uncomfortable then, it never will be. Sleep deprived, 3.0 cubic feet of luggage in 2.0 cubic feet of space (exageration), and 25 miles per gallon. THIS CAR IS A CHAMP!

Drove my friends Boxster all weekend. Rubbery shifter and poor steering wheel position. Maybe a little eaiser to accelerate quickly, but my s2k is in my opinion superior in every way. Plus I saved 25k.

Thank you all for the excellent advice. I wish I could buy them both. I guess I'll wait until my pre-order Z comes in to make my final decision.
