Hi guys!!! I'm a newbie here but this is the issue! I want to buy a Honda S2000 cause i want to have a weekend car. Here in Puerto Rico a new one cost aprox. $45,000 i want to buy a used one but i don't know what is the best year to buy and don't know the color...im between white, black or silver. What you think is the greatest color combination (exterior + interior) example: GPW with sand leather, red or black with red? and how much is the cost of the hardtop? Remember im a newbie so any info would be great and very helpful. Thanks in advance![SIZE=7]

glass rear window for the top 00-03 9k redline 2.0L motor

04-07 2.2L motor 8k redline little more torque plus newer body style different rims on 04-05 06-07 also have different rims and DBW throttle system 06 also has DRL's

but there are a ton of differences

hardtop is gonna run you around 2500 plus shipping and the installation kit

get GPW its the fastest color

Silverstone with the red and black interior is what I think of as the classic S2000. The silverstone is a beautiful color, I refuse to call it silver, I think of it as a metalic flake grey; one of my favorites for sure!

As far as what's the most rare combination, that I cannot answer.

I will say this though, the hardtop may be a few coins, but believe me, it is worth every penny, I love how it transforms the car, it's like having two cars in one just by having the hardtop.

 

I don't know what combos you get in Brasil, but the rarest combo is GPW/blue.

Silverstone and Sebring make up about 50% of all S2000s.

Regardless, the red and black interior is nice. If I were you and it was a weekend car, I'd go BB if you can garage it during the week.
