Ya but that is illegal or taken usually. Tried it myself.

 

When my S was vandalised I decided to cheer myself up by getting some custom plates.
Full customs (6 numbers or letters) cost $300 a year, but they have premium plates (3 letter, 2 numbers, and a letter) which you can have made up for $140 once off.

I opted for SRS-02K which either stands for Silver/Red S2000 or Scratched, Really Scratched!



Also, the front plate is only 83mm high so it's less intrusive.

 

I saw a red one recently with the plate:

RDLN9K

Red Line 9000.

 

How bout COOLS2K. Im sure you can get COOL not KOOL cuz if you get KOOL your just not cool enought to get the C!
