I just got Project Gotham Racing 2 for Xbox and it is impressive so far. each car has a distinct "handling". Trying to get Enzo, Carrera GT, Saleen S7.

 

Actually, the cars all handle very differently. It's not always realistic, but they aren't all the same.

 

Yes, that is what I've noticed for non-online play... the cars handle quite differently. The RSX for me actually grips better... where the the S is better for drifting. MAAAAAYYYBE they were insightful enought to make that a characteristic of the rear wheel drive VS. FWD on the RSX...


But... I doubt it!

The Miata is great... that thing is actually quicker than everything BUT the S2000, RSX, and Supra... and handles like it's on Magnetic Rails!

Here is the question though: Is the Skyline the BEST car left for me to unlock in this game!??

Yeah its the last car to unlock but when you start off the line the god damn thing spins way out of control and does circles (kinda like my 350z in the snow with a 1/4 inch of snow on the ground) but the game is definatly "Teh Fast and the Furious" The video game. The Graphics are sweet on XBOX but its highly unrealistic, but the conept is real cool. if your an enthuisiest than wait for GT4.

 

I always use the GSX. R34 is allright but it has mad oversteer.

 

o lord i hate that game...i unlocked the skyline and put in every performance mod possible on that car and on race 103 out of 111 i get owned every single time....

 

my brother got it on ps2 when it was just released. race 70 was the s2000! its clocked now, he has it all done but i really dont know about the game being 'real' in power and stuff. belive it or not, im still using my civic. i reckon thats the best for drifting. i started up a new thing on the memory card because my brother deleted my one the first time. i need more info on the rsx. most people dont realise that an acura rsx is a honda integra. i wish we had acura. tsx and tls and all that! hehe. well i knew already but my brother was going 'what the hell is an acura?' haha! i sure told him. lol.

my brother did really well with the mazda mx5...it got him through most of the game hence looking at the magazine covers.
