What brushing issues do you have GT? Mines about as low as yours, and I want a new front end, but any lower and I'm afraid I'll do some real damage next driveway I use.

right now I dont have any rubbing issues....I have oem lip on it before and didnt scrape once.

as far as a daily driver - the ride on the espelirs is not that much stiffer than stock - just makes the car feel more planted on the road - well that, and a custom alignment

How much clearance does your front have? Take your time if you want to measure for me. I've always loved the look with a custom front end, but I can't keep paint on the bottom of my stock one without a lip.

Tanabe GF210 has the perfect drop IMO not too low and not to high
I also agree with " esracer " about premature shock wear with
after market springs but as long a your aware of that and your not tracking
then you should be fine, One other thing to keep in mind if you go for
after market wheels you could have rubbing problems if you go with 18"
that arent the right off set so be careful if you haven't already done so.
hope this helps good luck . One more thing to keep in mind is spring rates
that will tell how stiff the ride will be, not quite sure what mine are but if I
remember they where pretty close to stock rates and after they where put
on it felt like stock ride maybe even a bit softer.

ac09lude - do you have the H&R sport springs??? i just looked them up and it says the drop is .75" in the front and .6" in the back...does that sound right.

it seems to me your pics looks a little lower than that - but maybe not. are you on the stock shocks or aftermarkets?

thanks!

ok i was at work earlier so couldnt find out for you. I just measured now im home and this is what i have clearance wise: (using espelir springs)

front tire to fender: 3/4"
rear tire to fender: 1 1/4"
front bumper to floor: 4"

no rubbing whatsoever.

hope that helps!

do you have to have a spring compressor to install aftermarket springs on the s2k?, or with the right tools and mechanic know how could someone do this by themselves?
