Take a big loan and buy more tunerparts, keep the hardtop aswell.
Some cool brand wheels and why not a decent turbo kit.

......................
and it HAS to be brand name stuff.

dude listen to us, if you're gonna be dumb, at least do it with style.

MUGEN is your best friend, and VOLK wheels are a must.
You NEED a supercharger AND a turbocharger, so you can twincharge your motor....

No offense, but if you are using your parents to have a car you shouldnt have at your age/maturity level, then you better put the flame suit on.

If you dont have a lot of time for work, then maybe you shouldve thought about that before getting an S.

As for not paying rent, your parents are spoiling your enough to where you can do what your doing, least you can do is help them. Even if i didnt move out on my own, if i was 18 living at my parents, i would force rent onto them.

The opinions are this, Sell the car, or the hard top, find a new job, and respect your damn parents, knucklehead.

Man dude.. if i had an s2k 3 years ago when i was 17.. id be broke as hell. I drove a 91 turbo supra that I saved up forever and was only 4g's. You got it made brother.. I pay for everything I have. I'd kick my old man in the arse if he paid for my insurance. Its self motivating knowing I pay for my own pad, my car, insurance..hell everything I have and I just turned 21. It takes me like 6-7 months to save up for car parts..If i lost my job, id cut my car loose in a heartbeat, but then again you dont have to pay for a roof over your head. Good luck man..focus on college which i am sure is just ahead.

Ditto, much more rewarding.

Then again, the younger generation(although im only 3 years apart) dont care about what they "feel" as long as they are seen.

Keep the hardtop, exhaust, etc. Charge a new Toda engine, complete custom suspension, 1MW audio system, solid gold shift knob, rich Corinthian leather seats, and a $40k paint job. Then take a private, chartered jet to D.C. and ask for a bailout because you lost your assets but still need a bonus to keep your S2000. You can't miss kid!

Yeah seems that way dont it? Peoples parents seem more lenient. I had my first job at 12, and my old man was always down my throat. He happens to be my best friend now, and i thank him everyday for it. I learned the right way, not the hard way and havent had an ounce of bad debt ever since my sophmore year in high school. Thats when i took out a loan on that Supra. Economy is scary as hell right now. If it wasnt, i might have financed a turbo kit..which ive been dreaming about forever. Hopefully this dude looks out and realizes getting a pad and going to college is alot more than having a nice car.. it took me awhile to learn that lol.. 3 years ago ..hell, i think i would have chose a cardboard box as long i as i could have slept next to my s2k w/ a turbo kit in it.

Fortunate? lol

Grow up.

Kids your age are spoiled ****ing rotten. When the time comes your "o so caring" parents arnt there, your going to be screwed.

All of us will tell you, our parents cared for us more, so they didnt spoil us.
