Default Neuspeed Exhaust and STB Installed Finally

Wow, what a difference! The exhaust sounds great and it may be my imagination, but I feel I got more acceleration too.

Either way, it sounds sorry, carried away with "click smiles"

The professional installer at Speed Styles in Charlotte worked on the install for anhour and a half, most of the time trying to adjust the height to make the tips even. Ended up with what I think everybody else has had, a left side (from rear) that is level and a right side that is tilted with the outside of the muffler higher than the inside There was simply ?no way to keep this from happening! Matt did a great job, he has a yellow S2k so he gave the whole job alot of TLC.

BTW thanks for the tips on installing Mingster.

As far as handling, it seems to be a bit stiffer, but hard to tell...again may be my wishful thinking, but seems to be less oversteer if thats possible. Comments

Did they have to alter anything? I'm thinking about buying the same set-up because I am a long-time fan of Borla products. I want to put it on my 2000 but when my 2002 comes in I want to do the swap as long as no alterations where necessary? How would you describe the sound? It doesn't sound like a Civic with a 5-inch muffler does it?

Thanks,

Dave

Sorry for all the questions but.... i need your help!

It is kind of hard to describe the sound. I can say that I downloaded every possible version of vids on it from this forum and it didnt really sound like ANY of them in person.

Mingster has sold a bunch of these, maybe you could hook up with someone that has installed one to hear in person.

Some said that they thought it was too loud. I dont think so. You get alot deeper tone and a bit of "feel" with the new exhaust for sure. If your cruising around and want more throat sound, just lower your RPMs and there it is. In a tunnel, it sounds like a race car!!

Believe it or not this was my WIFE's mod. She wanted this more than anything else for the car so I didnt argue (considering how much $$ I have already spent on it)

Happy to have ya by if your in SC
