new appreciation for the S
well i just moved into a new place and scrapped all my old furniture so i could completely decorate from new. rather than taking time to do so i figured i could pick up a part time job that pays decent to fund a bit of the added expense. so i pulled a job as a valet a few nights a week thinking its mindless, physical (so not too boring), and pays decent enough. after a day of driving other peoples rides i have a new found love for the s2000! not that i get to ring these cars out or anything but feeling how mushy and sloppy most manuals are (boxster S really surprised me at how soft their tranny feels) and how unconnected to the road a lot of the higher dollar "sports cars" are leaves me extremely impressed with the engineering that went into the S2000. i'm glad this car is a lowly honda because if it carried some other import name tag that wouldnt make other sports car drivers turn their nose up then we'd have so many more on the road. i dont think many boxster, z4, etc. drivers would still be in their european roadsters
bravo honda! now if only they'd keep producing it and give me an extra 100hp or so
