I had H&R coilovers on my car and the shock part was really made by Bilstein and they worked fantastically. All the European car guys swear by them, Nissan offers a Bilstein aftermarket kit for the 350Z (only in Japan), and Subaru specs Bilstein stuff on their STI models (like the 22B). I personally prefer Bilstein over Koni because I have had bad experiences with Koni.

But Bilstein has a top quality reputation. I'd like to know more about the PSS9 models, esp. the spring rates.

I will volunteer to try to arrange a group buy. I'll call Turner tomorrow as a start to see what they might be willing to do. The posts here confirm what I've found in further research: the Bilstein shocks are top quality -- their electronically controlled shocks are standard on Ferraris.

If the PSS is 899.00 "per shock" how can the other system be 1,299.00 for all four?

OK...received new information from Germany. The person to talk to is Mr. Larry Eckert (858)386-5900 from Bilstein Amerika.
The 16 PSS9 are right now only for pre-selected "test-driver" and we are able to order them in February (that the bad news)

I will call Mr. Eckert today to see what we can arrange. Myabe we can be "test drivers."

Honda 606 -- you have to read the fine print. $899 is the price for a set of four. Our group buy will be for the PSS9s.

A number of us looked into these over a year ago. At the time the PSS was available in Europe but as I recall the spring rates were not what we were hoping for. The PSS9 was not available for the S2000 at that time. Do find out what rates you are getting before committing to a purchase. And keep in mind the ride hide adjustments that change the spring rate can be frustrating. I would suggest waiting for an evaluation and full information disclosure before putting money into a group buy.
