The normal price is for the PSS is $1899 but I think they sell them cheaper now because the new PSS9 is coming :-)

The front and rear progressive rate springs allow accurate adjustment of the vehicle ride height and center of gravity for the level of performance you seek.

Wonder if I can set my CG height to be at 0" above the ground? That'd be worth $1300!

Yes, I'm being a smartass, I just get a kick out of the "information" that is written by someone with no clue about how things work. This looks like a pretty good system, though.

Japanese coilovers tend to be overpriced compared with their European counterparts (Ohlins excluded here). That is not to say that just because the Bilsteins are less expensive, they aren't as good as Tien RA's for example. They could very well be better.

Personally, if I had nothing else to go on but the brand name of the shock, I'd pick Bilstein as number 1 every time.

I agree. Bilstein is a much more recognized name in the domestic car market.

I'm riding on Bilsteins (not coilovers) with H&R springs on my S4 and love the ride. Very nice shocks. Now I need to find even more money to get these!

I have been on Bilstein PSS for almost a year and I love them. I put them on the same time I put a X-brace and Comptech sway bar. It is hard to know which part did more but the car handled noticeably better afterwards. I got my PSS last year for $999 for a set of 4. I would really like to get the new PSS9 now for the adjustability but you won't be disappointed with the regular PSS either though.
