Default New Blue in Town (S.Ca) :)

Hi everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself to the site.

I'm a healthcare consultant, and I've always drooled at the S2000. I've been living vicariously by lurking around this site, but never really considered owning one until last week. It was a particularly stressful week where I got fed up one evening and spontaneously decided to contact some internet dealers. Friday afternoon when I was preparing to leave for the airport, a sales person calls, tells me they just received a Suzuki Blue S2000, and asked it I was interested.

Fate? Whatever... besides, it wouldn't hurt to fish for information.

So this morning, I met the guy at Diamond Bar Honda, saw the car, fell in love, and my "fishing for info" turned into a outright sales ordeal. 9a until 5:30p (minus a 1.5 hour break for lunch), we haggled, and haggled, and haggled. They brought three sales people to work with me. Two were helpful and forthright, and the other tried cheap swindling tactics. But in the end, I drove off the lot with an ear-to-ear grin; I'm in love.

Tomorrow I'm going shopping for some basic necessities: car alarm, cool japanese air freshener... I'm looking forward to running across a few of you in town.

welcome to board and congratulation on your new S2000.

good choice on the color.

I drive a Suzuka Blue S2000 too.

great color is all I have to say.

I live in Walnut which is very close to Rowland height.

I guess I will see you on the road.

This car is such a blast And I haven't even driven past 5k RPM yet!

Shopping for an alarm is proving more difficult than I thought... especially when all the shops tell me that they're great and know how to wire it perfectly. Hmm...

When getting an alarm, the installer is the most important thing to consider. If you live near the west side, I can recommend a very good shop. They install different alarms and stereos and have even worked on one of Shaq's cars. PM me if you want the details.

Congrats on the purchase. Make sure you check the local southern california forum for our events.

If you live in Diamond Bar, then maybe I'll see you around town .

BTW, congratulations on your purchase.
