Default New Differential

Guys, just installed a "split/shift truck differential in my S2000.

Pros: 1) Gobbs of torque, 2) Can't tearup the differential no matter how I abuse it, 3) Can tow a locomotive, 4) 12 Foreward gears, 5) 2 Reverse Gears

Cons: 1) Stook now weighs over 3,600 lbs., 2) Top speed in high range 6th gear is 103 MPH @ 9,000 Redline, 3) Car almost flips over with a really good high RPM clutch hookup.

What do you think?

You better mate an Allison 5 speed transmission to it too. No more gear grinds, no more clutch problems. Mind you, the thing will now weigh 4500#.

Hey, you need to talk to Wesmaster about your solution. I'm sure he'll go for this one

Hahahaha, we must have been posting our responses at the same time. I had said almost the exact same thing about Wesmaster, but went back in and deleted my post.

Thought I might have been a little to insensitive to him, and we all know, all S2000 owners are caring and sensitive!

I think the Wesmaster can take a joke. He seems to have a good sense of humor, hanging with those other Houstook guys.

He shoud be getting his car nack within a week or so.
