Hello Mellow Fellows and Ladies, I'm new to this forum.

Thinking about getting an S2000 Really DEBATING which one to get, the CR or Standard Model.

Also my car choices have boiled down to this.

a 93-95 Toyota Supra, Been wanting one since I was in Six Grade, A Lexus IS250, or The Pussy Magnet Pre-Installed Convertible S2000.

I'm not a little punk ass teenager incase you guys thought I was. I just recently Graduated College. HAHA Anyways thanks for your opinions :-)

I've also wanted the 4th gen twin turbo supra ever since they came out back in '94. I thought about it and looked into one since I knew a guy that owned one a few years back and the interior looks really dated. Plus it is starting to show age as an "older" used car which means you would have to put some money into it to keep it running in good condition(even if it is a toyota, remember those things are boosted and a boosted motor will have double(or even worse)wear and tear on the motor then the N/A motor).

Allot of them are gonna demand more money then its worth to purchase if it has good mileage and is in good condition. The others that have more wear and tear on them you would wanna stay away from and you also might wanna stay away from seriously modded ones, especially!!!

To me, the CR model is a car for someone if they're gonna track it.
The regular S2000 can still handle but can be much more comforting to drive if your thinking of driving it on the streets mostly.

The Is250 is the new Jetta to me...Mostly see chicks driving them.

Depends up to you though...
Good Luck!!!

Welcome! You'll enjoy it here, it's quite a cool place (usually).

Do the CR if you get a good deal, otherwise stick with the standard one. They're not really selling, so you should be able to work out a killer deal. For the full price difference, I wouldn't bother.

Get the base model so you can have the convertable factor. CR is a great car but you wont be able to use it to its full potential on the street. Your other 2 options arent even worth considering IMO. Supras are too old and will cost a fortune to maintain. And the IS250 is really nothing special.

If it was me, I wouldn't get the CR. But if you wouldn't use the convertible top and would get a hardtop anyways and don't plan on modding the car alot get the CR.

^^ Agreed

If you are going to mod the car and replace everything the CR has over the regular S2k, there isnt much point.

If you want to keep it stock and dont mind the hardtop only, get the CR.

Wow, Thanks CoolblueS@2K You really made me think, Although the Supra is my unicorn, The S2000 Just seems more Logical.

I was thinking about it too I don't think I want the CR because I want the the "Ragtop" Feature. As for the Hardtop, I'm not too worried cause I'll get the Mugen Carbon Fiber Hardtop the short one.

Question now is... CR (do I really want it!?) or Standard (Convertible Feature)

I get Hondas at Sticker Price, So really Cost isn't a factor My Older brother used to work at Rock Honda.

Everyone gets S2000s below sticker. The standard model further below sticker than the CR.
