I just bought my '00 with 58,000 miles. I've put about 400 miles on since I've had it. For the first time today, I hear this strange noise coming from what sounds like the right rear. It occurs when first letting out the clutch/accelerating in 1st or 2nd and sounds like a pop. It sounds exactly like the chirp from my brother's 3000gt factory alarm when the alarm is set(I know, odd analogy). Anybody have a clue what this might be?
