NEW GUY HERE!
Hey everyone!
I just bought a 2000 Red S2K yesterday from a Lexus dealership here in town. It only had 1,853miles on it! I figured you don't see 5 year old cars with 1853 miles on them everyday, so I scooped it up to be used as a weekend "toy" car.
I've got some extended experience with fun cars: my first project was a 240sx to S13 Silvia conversion with my brother in law. My mom drives an '05 Boxster S. My daily driver is a (modded) 2004 Evo VIII. But after one day of driving my new S2K, all I can say is WOW! The car is a total blast to drive! I am totally impressed and totally happy with my purchase of this car.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I hope I found the best source of S2K information available. I never leave cars in stock form, so I'm definitely going to be modding my new toy as much as I see fit. Click the link in my sig to see my daily driver. Hopefully, I'll put as much attention into my S2K as I've put in my Evo.
I'm gonna be asking lots and lots of questions concerning modifications and stuff, so be patient with this newb, and thanks in advance everyone!

sounds like a nice car.. i just got mine last week and have burned up the first tank.. i am in charleston wv and got the silver 05 and love it..
now i have to teach my wife to drive a stick
i have a 02 corvette z06 that scares her.. "good"
a 04 honda pilot and a 02 chevy silverado P/U truck..
i cant wait to do a few mods to this one..
i am getting rims and sticky tires for autox first thing. !!!

Yeah, wheels and tires are the things I'm looking at right now too. My wife loves driving my Evo, and she's pumped about this S2k.
Mods will probably come quicker on this car than I think. Stock cars usually last about a month or two with me...

Hey everyone! I'm a newbie, too. I've owned my red '05 for a whole week now. It's my weekend toy, and replaces a red Mazdaspeed Miata. Wow, what a difference!!! I only have 200 miles, so no VTEC yet for me either. My everyday drivers are an '05 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner and '05 Acura MDX. I'm hoping to get to Deal's Gap in a few weeks to join all the other S2000's. I've been there several times in the past. Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with some folks in the Charlotte, NC area for other club activities and stuff? Thanks.
