Default New here, modding asap - can u help?

Hey guys.. got rid of my 350z in the fall and needed another fun sports car so I picked up an 01 yellow s2000 for a nice price only 25k miles.. Now I want to mod the engine up.. what are some mods for about 2500k

Not sure if its like the 350z i put headers intake exhaust pulleys

what mods do people do with the s2000

Looking for exhaust intake headers pulleys possibly but dont know how to get power with the car.. if anyone can either respond here with prices and first simple mods with est 1/4 times or if they wanna chat hit me up on aim at guitolikethat it would be awesome. Thanks!

If you're looking for significant power gains(which I expect you are), then a SC is your only way. Save 4k and get it. Anything else won't give you more than 10 hp total. You might want to get 4.77 gears first.

I'm new too but here is what my research has gotten me so far

intakes:
comptech +5 hp +4.5 tq
AEM +7 hp +8 tq
k&n +9.5 hp unknown torque

all in the 200-300 dollar range

with a supercharger and tuning you can get to 300 whp no problem with only a supercharger (with aftercooler).

Cat back exhaust:
SOOO many to go through but I've seen a lot of dynos showing an easy 7-10 hp gain with about 5-7 tq

I think im going to have to disagree with no more then 10+ hp total ....a nice intake and headers back system will give him more then 10.

Ive heard a lot about 4.77 gears. What does this do for the car? Ive heard a lot of good things said, but what is it doing vs. stock gears and how much?

Ive seen these dynos live though....there are serious gains....well not as much bang for the buck as a SC but still some good gains. You just have to buy good parts and not crap off ebay.

As far as the gears that sounds hot. I'll never wanna hit 150 anyways and I dont think ill even need to hit 135 most the time.

Dynos will alter data. This is to advertise their product.

I don't think that 9.5hp form K&N has been backup up. I seriously doubt any intake on this car would give that much. They post dynos, but they seam fishy to me. I think someone before mentioned that it was on another car or something.

I know dynos can cheat and stuff but I have seen these dynos in person at the garage when it was happening. So I know some of it is semi realistic. even if you only get a few hp from each upgrade....I still think youd get more then 10hp gain and im sticking to my theory lol.
