The intakes that have been listed are the most common for S2k owners. None of which add much HP, sound is great on all of them. My buddy has the Comptec on his and he personally says that its over priced for what you get. Your best bet is the AEM line, V1 or V2. Dont worry about hydrolock, I drive to NYC almost every other week in the pooring rain and my filter looks like its the same from the day I installed it! Its about preference really, rather then performance or quaility.
Well, CAI will have the best hp gains if you don't mind the shitty look. I will go for Comptech, Mugen or J's Racing cuz I think ON/OFF throttle response is more important than peak power.
spoon all the way. You can buy it from A & J Racing. They are a great company, or you can buy the replica spoon intake from muz. It is almost the same intake, but is not made from carbon fiber!
i like my aem v2, and that's a great price from itg.
i did notice a slight increase in power, and believe it or not a noticeable increase in low-end as well. the intake sounds amazing too if that's what your looking for. i am very satisfied with my purchase.
btw, i have been through downpours without a single problem.

I personally like my PRM. Sounds great, looks awesome, gets compliments all the time, easiest install of any intake, and no chance of hydrolock, even with my vented hood!!!
And of course there's always one of these which will provide improved throttle response and mid range performance while allowing you to retain your factory airbox which provides excellent protection against water and the possibility of hydrolock.
