People can be such friggin Aholes. Did you check to see if maybe the parking garage has security cameras? If so maybe you could get the tape turned into Police. I don't know if that would help any.

Looks like I maybe getting hooked up with a shop here in CT that works on very very high end cars such as Ferrari's. Plus he knows the owner. Im hoping to get to a "nothing was ever done" look.

By the way, I had the pleasure of staying in Asheville in '94 over spring break when I drove to Florida, and took a detour to drive the Blue Ridge Pkwy.
Is that part of the planned drive, or will there still be snow up there?

Im going to see if the adjustor can look into taking care of my front bumper as well. It got cracked when I had an incident with a curb stopper.
I hopefully can either A. Get it taken care of under the same claim. or B. Have the shop give me a deal on fixing the front bumper since they will have to mix up the paint anyways and very possibly take the front quarter panel off. Just noticed yesterday that it got creased in the process of scratching!!!!

How much different can I say it than anyone else who's tried...that sucks, plain and simple! Of course, you've aleady heard my rant about people not respecting other' properties. Sad part is, if that guy had the same thing happen to him, he'd be pissed off too and looking for blood. If you want a temporary fix, you might want to try some of that wax that has colored pigment in it. It won't be perfect, but it should get rid of the white primer look until you get it painted.

Interesting that you should mention the camera thing. After Michelle was backed into by some thoughtless schmuck (who took off wiht no note), I thought about a camera. Of course it wouldn't get every instance, but it would take a snapshot when the car was jostled. They're already putting in full PCs for MP3 players, so just hook a QuickCam to a port with a motion sensor...if it moves, smile, you're on candid camera. One more project I thought of but don't have the time to build. <sigh>
