New Megan Header for the S2000!
I got the megan header. Sorry, won't be a before and after dyno. My butt dyno tells me more throttle response, and more power through all gears and rpms. But who knows how accurate a butt dyno is
I am happy with the purchase. Only bad thing is no heatshield.

I doubt anyone will dyno it. I probably could but only have the money for either the header or the dyno..but not both at the same time.
I had a Megan header for my civic and it seemed to last up to the a@@-kicking I did to it everyday. I just don't like the way it got colored after it heated up. This was fine for my civic but the last thing I want to do is put a crap part on my S. For sure if no dyno is done after this school semester is over for me and I can work full-time to get some money I swear I will do the dyno.
Also, I was thinking about it I think that people might be scared to post results because they fear it won't be as much of a gain or any and then they will be out the ~400 for the header and ~100 for the dyno becasue no one will want to waste their money on it. I doubt you can find someone that would buy a header that has been dyno proven with no gains or loss of power.
I hope someone can dyno soon because this thread is sooo long now and is losing it's appeal.

Curious to know why you are interested in what bits are magnetic

I'm pretty sure that they are using 304 stainless steel tubing, but I'm 99% sure that their flanges are mild steel. I have yet to see another test pipe that is actually full 304 stainless steel (tubing & flanges) other than our own (Berk).
In the past few years since the cost of steel has sky rocketed, a lot of companies are switching over to 409 stainless steel. It is still technically "stainless steel", but it turns a dark brown (almost black) color instead of gold like 304 does. Magnaflow is one of them, they still claim stainless steel, but a Magnet will stick on every single inch of exhaust tubing they make. It's more likely 409 or something else in the 400 series.

not that if it would be magnetic, but to see what percentage is actual metal so the magnet can stick. Just a quick test to see if the Megan company is using materials suited for a durable header.
304 stainless is like the real deal, while 409 stainlesss is kind of like the "racing style". Not that it is crap (it will hold up just fine), but 304 is just a better choice.
