Still no dyno eh?

 

This thread .....nothing but frustration.

 

well i was one of the few that said they'd buy the header and dyno it. i was serious too. but i had a bit of an accident and mod money became repair money.....what's my point you ask? well some people have things come up. things that prevent them to do what they originally planned. if you want dyno information so bad, then why don't YOU (and i mean anyone complaining about no dyno info) suck it up, foot the bill, and do it yourself. If this thread is so frustrating, then put your frustration at ease and buy the header, do a before/after dyno, and solve your problem. It's that simple. To see how frustrated people are with this thread perplexes me.

 

I think the frustration comes from leaving people hanging. If you said you were going to do it and something came up, tell us so people aren't waiting for nothing. No one's upset that you had a problem but they are upset that they're not being informed.

That said, someone man up and do it. I'm sure there are 10 people that can pony up $10 to someone for a total of $100 to help with this project.

Me? I don't have an S2k yet, so I'll definitely see these results without having to wait, suckers

While you wait for the results in your S2ks hitting VTEC, I wait without an S2k. Erm... On second thought...

 

it's one thing to wait for a dyno to be posted, but it's another thing to complain about something you can do for yourself. If people wanted to donate money to me to get this done, i could. However, it'd be just as easy for the people who are b!tching about nobody dynoing to just buy this header for themselves and do the damn tests. I mean if they're serious about buying the header, then they must have the money set aside........but as i said, if the people complaining would like to donate money to the cause, i'd gladly collect and buy the header and then dyno (before/after of course). It's just silly to see so many people "upset" because they're too lazy to do it themselves.

Well, i wasn't being serious when i said i'd take donations. I wouldn't want that responsibility.

I've always been a person who takes action for himself. If I'm waiting on someone to do something they said they'd do, and it's taking forever for them to do it, I'd get off my ass and do it myself. Especially if waiting is bringing me to the point of frustration/anger. When things are going bad in one's life, it isn't always their first priority to alert the members of the board to what's going on. In my case i had a simple fender bender which is going to soak up most of my mod money to fix.

My opinion is, even if someone says they'll do it, and then they don't, it's "lazy and cheap" to continue to bitch about it for 2 months. If you want the information THAT bad to where you come on to the board, post a message saying how angry or frustrated you are, then i say appease your own frustrations and buy the header and test it yourself.

If and when i pull the trigger on this header, i WILL do a before/after dyno, but i'm not going to commit to when that will be. After fixing the car i have to buy new tires so i can pass inspection. So now that everyone is informed, I think after 2 months of no dyno's (besides the Megan's) i hope nobody is still holding their breath. It's still probably going to be awhile before ANYONE does a before/after. If someone does then wonderful, but I'd still get my own dyno done. Not all cars are created equal and if one guy gains 10whp, that doesn't automaticly mean your's will.

If I were someone who wasn't willing to pony up the money and do the dyno test, but still REALLY wants this header NOW, then I'd look at the couple reviews that have been given on this header, look at the dyno from megan (trust it or not), then buy it or move on. It's really that simple.

quit crying everyone. dont expect everyone to do something you can do for yourself. sure it'd be nice but who cares... it isnt a big deal. the header is cheap, go buy it yourself. this is life, it's how things work out in life.
